Job Description

Job Objective:
The Corporate Analyst works closely with FP&A and Asset Team Analysts to turn budgets, forecasts, and operational results into clear, accurate, and meaningful reporting, executive presentations, variance analysis, and company-wide communications that help support business decisions and financial visibility across the organization. This role offers high visibility across the organization and meaningful exposure to senior leadership, with the opportunity to grow into increased responsibility within the FP&A group.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Corporate Reporting & Monthly Close Lead preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership, including variance analysis against plan, forecast, and prior periods. Prepare and facilitate monthly employee open book management meetings, including schedules, presentations, and supporting materials. Perform detailed monthly financial tie-outs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of reported results. Analyze production, operating expense, and capital trends; identify key drivers and communicate actionable insights to senior leadership. Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial statements and the financial impact of operational and strategic business decisions. Analysis & Executive Support Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, concise, executive-level presentations and reporting. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making. Prepare special reports and complete strategic projects for executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Evaluate business initiatives within a broader strategic and financial context, assessing operational and financial implications. Leverage and continuously enhance the OneStream FP&A platform to support corporate reporting, analyze budget and forecast data, and enhance the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial reporting processes. Serve as the finance and accounting liaison for the exploration team, including preparation of monthly financial reports, capital forecast management, budget planning, quarterly activity reviews, operating expense analysis, and ad hoc reporting. Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to support management decision-making across the organization. Process Improvement Drive enhancements to budgeting workflows, reporting processes, and automation within the OneStream FP&A platform. Identify opportunities to improve data governance, dimensional consistency, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency. Serve as a key contributor in optimizing and expanding the organization's use of OneStream. Develop and enhance analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities to improve transparency and executive insight. Analyze historical results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend process and performance improvements.

Qualifications:
Three (3) years minimum work experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting. Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision. Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred:
Strong working knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, and OneStream (FP&A Module).

Required:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in accounting, finance, or business. Preferred Masters Degree in accounting, finance or business.
