Job Description
Financial Analyst Wichita, KS (on site) Job Description + Analyze financial results, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, and provide actionable insights to leadership + Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to support planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making + Monitor and analyze product, project, and operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements + Develop and maintain standard cost systems, including bill of materials ( BOM ), labor, and overhead rates + Conduct inventory valuation, cost of goods sold ( COGS ) analysis, and margin reporting + Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, and finance) to drive accurate cost tracking and accountability + Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations + Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on cost drivers and operational performance metrics + Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies related to financial and cost reporting Essential Skills + 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, marketing analytics, or a closely related role. + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. + Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling for forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. + Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in both finance and cost accounting disciplines, enabling a holistic view of business performance. + Experience supporting company growth initiatives through forecasting and scenario analysis. + Exposure to marketing strategy, including campaign performance measurement and optimization. + Experience building dashboards and data visualizations to support leadership decision-making. + Comfort working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, sales, and operations teams. Work Environment This role is based onsite in a manufacturing environment and operates primarily in an office setting within that facility.
