Job Description

Financial Analyst Wichita, KS (on site) Job Description Analyze financial results, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, and provide actionable insights to leadership Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to support planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making Monitor and analyze product, project, and operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements Develop and maintain standard cost systems, including bill of materials (BOM), labor, and overhead rates Conduct inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and margin reporting Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, and finance) to drive accurate cost tracking and accountability Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on cost drivers and operational performance metrics Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies related to financial and cost reporting Essential Skills 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, marketing analytics, or a closely related role. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling for forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in both finance and cost accounting disciplines, enabling a holistic view of business performance. Experience supporting company growth initiatives through forecasting and scenario analysis. Exposure to marketing strategy, including campaign performance measurement and optimization. Experience building dashboards and data visualizations to support leadership decision-making. Comfort working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, sales, and operations teams. Work Environment This role is based onsite in a manufacturing environment and operates primarily in an office setting within that facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a professional, fast-paced environment focused on growth and continuous improvement. The position involves frequent use of analytical tools, spreadsheets, and enterprise systems such as SAP, along with marketing analytics platforms and CRM tools. The office setting supports collaboration, regular interaction with leadership, and access to operational teams on the manufacturing site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $60.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
