Finance Intern

Our Company BrightSpring Health Services Overview BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Finance Intern to join our team and support the Finance Department with day-to-day operations and strategic projects. This internship is a great opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field to gain real-world experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to the financial decision-making process, reporting tools, forecasting methods, and internal controls. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards for internal stakeholders Support budgeting and financial planning processes Conduct financial analysis on company performance, trends, and key metrics Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures Help reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Maintain financial databases and track key performance indicators (KPIs) Support audit preparation by gathering and organizing financial documentation Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data Assist in creating presentations and materials for internal financial reviews Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) Completed introductory finance and accounting courses Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday) is a plus About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary home- and community-based pharmacy and provider health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
