Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing consulting firm focused on the life sciences sector, is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Boston-based team. The firm partners with biopharma companies, investors, and healthcare innovators to deliver high-impact strategic and financial advisory services. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and science, supporting transactions and strategic initiatives across the life sciences ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and capital raises Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company research, including analysis of scientific and clinical data Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and investment memoranda Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strategic insights and recommendations to clients Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and product pipelines within biotech and pharmaceutical sectors Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or a related field Educational background in biology, life sciences, or a related discipline strongly preferred Strong understanding of core financial principles, valuation methodologies, and transaction processes Demonstrated ability to interpret and synthesize scientific information into business insights Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmen t Please apply now if interested!
