Job Description

The Team We seek a Senior Analyst of Strategic Finance to join American Tower's Strategic Finance team. The team drives key financial initiatives and provides financial insights to support decisions and drive growth. The Senior Analyst owns recurring corporate finance analyses and quarterly updates, maintaining core assumptions and methodologies for weighted average cost of capital ("WACC"), discounted cash flow ("DCF"), net asset value ("NAV"), lookbacks, and related frameworks and developing and maintaining robust financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and global capital allocation decisions. You will be expected to operate with flexibility, supporting adjacent teams and priority projects as business needs evolve. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related discipline required. MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant advanced degree/certification preferred. At least 5 years of corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, strategy, corporate development, or similar experience required. Strong analytical rigor and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong foundation in corporate finance, including financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and investment analysis. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency and an ability to quickly learn other software tools. Curious and able to leverage AI enabled tools to enhance quantitative analysis and research and support data driven decisions. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality outputs in a fast paced environment. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to synthesize findings and present recommendations to senior stakeholders. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Approximately 10% of travel may be required to support the position's responsibilities. What You Can Offer Us Perform quarterly recurring corporate finance analyses and updates, including maintaining assumptions and methodologies for WACC, DCF, NAV, lookbacks, and related frameworks. Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models to support the evaluation of strategic initiatives, investments, and capital allocation decisions. Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses and sensitivity testing to support decisions. Prepare analytical materials and executive ready presentations to support leaders' discussions and board level reviews. Serve as a flexible partner across the team and broader Finance organization, providing analytical support and capacity to adjacent teams as business needs evolve. Research and synthesize market intelligence (industry trends, competitor dynamics, and relevant macro/sector developments). Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross functional stakeholders (e.g., Business Finance, Tax, Treasury, and regional teams). Perform additional duties as required in support of the team's functions.
