Financial Analyst

Description Our client in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys analyzing data, supporting business decisions, and working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis while helping leadership make informed strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets + Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities + Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processes + Assist with financial modeling and business performance analysis + Partner with leadership and operational teams to support decision-making + Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and presentations + Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data + Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field + 2+ years of financial analysis, accounting, or related experience + Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling + Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting + Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus + Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
