About the Role The Senior Analyst Finance Business Partner supports the New England Electric organization in the plan to performance process. You will deliver annual operating budgets, forecasts, and longer-term business plans working closely with finance leads and business stakeholders. You will work to challenge strategic and financial priorities, and deliver financial analysis and insight to our NE Electric business partners. Focus primarily on operating expenses and capital expenses. What You'll Do Assist Finance Business Partner Leads and Finance Director in the development, coordination and consolidation of business plan and budgets, forecasts and supporting financial analyses. Provide financial support to the New England Electric business. This includes budget preparation and analysis, forecasting, cost control, performance measurement, variance analysis, and ad-hoc analysis. Monitor and review financial information, analyzing and investigating results of cost across business, to improve understanding of the business and improve forecasting, cost controls, and performance. Build knowledge of financial systems, dashboards and reports in order to conduct necessary analysis and investigation of costs, and ensure efficient access to information. Provide feedback and join cross-functional teams to improve automation and efficiency of financial reporting to support business. Progress finance improvements through learning and adoption of AI tools and technologies Develop and maintain strong relationships with the New England Electric business teams, Finance and other internal teams. Collaborate with other FBPs on training and best practices demonstrating continuous improvement. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, long term planning, operational KPIs and presentation of financial information Experience in GAAP or IFRS accounting Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, develop relationships with business stakeholders, collaborate with colleagues. Salary $98,000-$115,000 National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring.
