We provide comprehensive wealth management services that cover all aspects of our clients' financial lives, including financial planning, investment management, estate planning, and tax-aware strategies. The Paraplanner / Wealth Advisor will work closely with a Senior Financial Advisor and Client Service Associate to support the delivery of high-quality financial advice and an exceptional client experience for an established and mature client base. This role is designed as a career-track position for a developing advisor who is building technical, planning, and client-facing skills. No sales or new client acquisition responsibilities are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Advisory Support Prepare and assist in the development of comprehensive financial plans, including retirement planning, education funding, cash flow and liability strategies, tax planning, and risk management. Gather, organize, and analyze client financial data to support plan construction and ongoing reviews. Assist in analyzing investment portfolios and preparing recommendations aligned with client goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons for advisor review. Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and help identify planning or investment opportunities based on market conditions and client life events. Prepare meeting materials, planning summaries, and follow-up documentation for client meetings. Client Experience & Relationship Support Participate in client meetings alongside Senior Advisors to review financial plans, investment strategies, and progress toward goals. Serve as a point of contact for client questions, requests, and service needs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. Proactively support clients by helping coordinate planning updates, account maintenance, and ongoing service initiatives. Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with firm and regulatory standards.
SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS
Strong interest in financial planning, investments, and wealth management as a long-term career path. Ability to prepare clear, professional, and well-organized financial materials and client presentations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Working knowledge of financial markets, planning strategies, and investment solutions, with a desire for continuous learning. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning or CRM software is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred (finance, economics, business, or related field strongly preferred) Series 7 and Series 66 required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) Life & Health Insurance License (preferred or willingness to obtain) Highly motivated, team-oriented professional with a strong desire to grow into a full advisory role Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Compensation This position is located in Massachusetts. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $80,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
