Job Description

Role Summary:
The Treasury Accountant & Financial Analyst provides direct support to the Chief Financial Officer's direction of the company's overall financial and accounting planning and practices, providing analysis and recommendations on all financial operations. This is an on-site role at our Jessup, MD facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor all cash activity across multiple bank accounts Responsible for compiling and submitting daily Asset Based Lending (ABL) Borrowing Base Certificate (BBC) and monthly compliance reporting packages Maintain and provide weekly view of short-term cash position to CFO Analyze cash requirements and recommend weekly SOFR-based loan draws and repayments based on anticipated collections, disbursements, inventory receipts, customer billings, and operating needs Provide daily analysis on various data elements related to abnormalities in margins, inventory and sales Assist with annual financial statement audits, semi-annual lender field examinations, and other regulatory or compliance reviews Collaborate with the finance team to prepare annual budget forecasts, balance sheet projections, profit and loss forecasts, and cash flow models Assist in working with CFO and existing team in evaluating and establishing financial and accounting processes and policies within a growing organization Assist with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and maintenance of workpapers Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required Experience with cash management, borrowing facilities, or financial analysis is a plus CPA not required, progress or successful completion is a plus Experience with ERP systems is preferred (Microsoft based)
