Do:
Position provides assistance with fiscal management and administration of contracts between the Area Agency on Aging and recipient agencies. Duties include a variety of accounting functions, budget development/monitoring and preparation of contract packets/documentation, records and reports. Position provides assistance to and monitors providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Enter and analyze financial and programmatic activity for monthly and quarterly reports in compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Conduct and assist with provider monitoring and/or assessment visits for compliance with the AAA policies and funding source requirements; Prepare and process contract documentation and/or contract packets for service providers. Ensure all required elements are present. Obtain AAA Director's authorization. File appropriately and send copy to contracted provider.

Communicate with Providers.

Assist with preparation and development of area plans, grant applications, input sessions and public hearings;Provide technical assistance to service providers and grant/contract applicants. Attend as needed subcontractor board meetings to promote open dialogue;Prepare, code and review documentation prior to payment authorization for accounts payable;Collect and prepare information for ROMA reports;Conduct year-end close out in compliance with agency and funding source requirements;Data collection, processing, balancing and analysis;Conduct programmatic analysis utilizing graphs, charts and narrative from raw data including assisting with departmental reports;Assist with preparation and development of area plans, grant applications, input sessions and public hearings;Compile and analyze financial data;Analyze revenue & expenditure reports; Report issues and findings to the Director of Business/Financial Resources-Aging;Provide various forecasting models or options;Provide support to the Director of Business/Financial Resources-Aging and Aging-Business/Finance Department; To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
