  • Full-time DeWitt Marine is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Sales & Finance Coordinator to support and manage the closing process for boat sales from start to finish.
This role is responsible for ensuring every deal is complete, accurate, and moves efficiently through the system. The position works closely with the sales team, lenders, manufacturers, and state agencies to coordinate documentation, resolve issues, and maintain a smooth closing experience for both buyers and sellers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within an active business office and requires someone who can manage multiple priorities, stay organized under pressure, and take ownership of their work. There is also opportunity to earn commission through the sale of finance and protection products, including warranties and additional boating services.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, manage, and maintain complete deal files (electronic and physical) Process new and used ownership documents, titles, and registrations Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner Coordinate with sales team to keep deals moving and follow up on missing items Communicate with state agencies, banks, and manufacturers as needed Research title and transfer requirements to ensure compliance Resolve documentation errors and discrepancies Maintain organized records and audit-ready files Assist in presenting and selling additional products such as warranties and protection plans Support overall business office operations as needed
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Title processing or administrative experience preferred
Systems Used:
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) Salesforce DockMaster Manufacturer / dealer portals
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay: $18
  • $22/hour 15% commission on F&I product profit 20% commission on initial membership fees Full-time employees may be eligible for: Medical, Dental, Vision (60/40 split
  • DeWitt covers 60%) Supplemental insurance options IRA retirement plan with 3% company match Paid time off (increases with tenure) Holiday schedule including Thanksgiving, Christmas break, and post-Labor Day closure
