Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist Do you thrive on solving financial puzzles, spotting inconsistencies, and making sense of complex data? Our growing Community Association Management company is looking for a sharp, analytical thinker to join our team as an initial Part-Time Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist (30 hours per week with growth opportunity). This role goes beyond routine data entry—we're looking for a career-minded professional who can critically evaluate financial information, identify discrepancies, professionally interact with clients and fellow team members, and proactively improve processes. If you enjoy digging into details, asking the right questions, and ensuring financial accuracy, you'll be a great fit for our team!
Responsibilities:
Process invoices and ensure timely payment of bills Manage incoming payments Handle resident calls/emails and resolve payment issues Maintain accurate financial records and report discrepancies Handle vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues Interact with various software platforms Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Understanding of accounting principles/ability to work with journal entries, general ledgers, and financial packages Computer literacy Ability to handle diverse personalities and conflict resolution Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to navigate multiple software systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
