Salary:
$88,000 - $110,000 Our client is a well-established law firm. They are seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support firmwide financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives. What you'll be doing:
- Design and prepare detailed financial reports and analyses using accounting systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including management reporting, financial statement analysis, and ad hoc projects
- Assist with partner and associate compensation analysis and reporting
- Support high-visibility external surveys across firm departments
- Collaborate with FP&A leadership and serve as a key resource to junior analysts
- Own and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery
- Develop expertise in the firm's financial systems and overall financial operations
- Utilize tools such as Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Tableau to extract and analyze data
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas
- Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools (Tableau or similar)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly across all levels
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
