Financial Analyst LHH US Grand Rapids, MI Job Details $28 - $39 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Commuter assistance Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Employee assistance program Life insurance Paid sick time Qualifications VLOOKUP function Bachelor's degree Data-driven problem-solving Excel data analysis Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. This role will partner closely with leadership to provide insights that drive profitability, cost control, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and trends to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis. Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and investment opportunities. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Assist with the annual budget process and ongoing forecast updates. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within systems and reports. Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting (industry experience preferred). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders. High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Excel or financial modeling certifications. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
Pay Details:
