Job Description:
Finance Analyst Automotive Manufacturing | Michigan | Onsite I'm currently partnering with a global automotive and advanced manufacturing organisation looking to appoint an Enterprise Finance Analyst to join a major next-generation battery manufacturing operation in Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong accounting, finance and analytical experience who wants to be part of a large-scale manufacturing and electrification programme shaping the future of transportation. The role will focus on supporting financial operations, accounting activities, reporting and process development within a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting processes
  • Assisting with financial statement preparation and account reconciliations
  • Supporting financial and operational reporting activities
  • Working with ERP systems and large financial datasets to deliver analysis and insights
  • Supporting tax-related accounting and compliance activities
  • Assisting with manufacturing production tax credit tracking and reporting
  • Supporting internal controls, financial procedures and process optimisation initiatives
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Operations and Corporate stakeholders
  • Supporting supplier contract performance reporting and analysis What they're looking for:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree within Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Additional experience of interest:
  • CPA, CMA, CFA or CIA certifications
  • Manufacturing or industrial finance experience
  • Power BI, Alteryx or analytical tool exposure
  • Experience within operational or plant finance environments Why this role stands out:
