Financial Analyst (Data & Automation Focus)

Overview:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst with 2+ years of experience who combines strong core finance capabilities with a passion for data and automation. This role is approximately 70% traditional finance (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) and 30% focused on data analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to business leaders Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and management packages Work with large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Develop and automate reporting processes using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency Utilize SAP (or similar ERP systems) for data extraction, analysis, and reporting Assist in improving financial models and streamlining workflows through automation

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related role Strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Experience working with large data sets and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) Exposure to automation tools or programming (Python preferred) Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred:
