Financial Analyst | Hybrid

Job Summary As a core member of our accounting team, you are responsible for the overall integrity, reporting, and timeliness of all cost accounting data populating our SAP ERP system and supporting records. This role applies accounting and finance principles to analyze data from SAP and other company sources, identifying trends in product costing, plant performance, and product profitability. The ideal candidate transforms raw data into actionable information, communicating insights across various business units to highlight corporate successes and operational opportunities.

$65,000 - $90,000/yr

Hybrid (Minimum 2 days onsite per week required)

Duties Month-End Close:

Partner directly with the Cost Accounting Manager and finance team members to execute the month-end close process, preparing and distributing accurate financial reports.

Cost Transparency:

Support corporate programs that ensure overall manufacturing and production costs are thoroughly understood and clearly communicated across the business.

Data Interpretation:

Compile and report on various transactional data sets to identify critical cost trends and operational improvement opportunities.

Supply Chain Collaboration:

Work closely with the Supply Chain group to monitor raw material cost fluctuations and analyze their direct impact on overall product costing.

Profitability Matrixing:

Assist in the creation and analysis of profitability matrices, enabling detailed customer-level performance evaluations.

Inventory Oversight:

Assist in the administration, oversight, and auditing of plant cycle count programs and facility inventory controls.

Audit Management:

Serve as a primary point of contact and proactively assist in the timely, accurate completion of annual financial audit documents and responses.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required.

Professional Longevity:

2 to 4 years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting is preferred, showing progressive levels of responsibility.
