Duties Conduct comprehensive reviews of commercial loan files, including financial statements, cash flow analyses, and collateral documentation to assess creditworthiness. Perform detailed risk analysis and underwriting to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate actions. Utilize financial modeling and quantitative research techniques to forecast borrower performance and evaluate loan viability. Collect and analyze data from various sources to support credit decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare clear, accurate financial reports and summaries that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Engage in negotiation with clients and internal teams to facilitate favorable loan terms while managing risk exposure. Monitor ongoing loan performance through portfolio management practices, identifying early warning signs of potential default or fraud. Requirements Proven experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, or loan review within financial services or banking sectors. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling techniques. Proficiency with financial software tools and banking systems used for loan processing and portfolio management. Excellent math skills with the ability to interpret complex quantitative data and conduct forecasting accurately. Knowledge of technical accounting principles, mortgage servicing processes, and fraud prevention strategies is preferred. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly through written reports and verbal presentations. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, data collection, underwriting, and risk analysis are essential for success in this role.
