Position Description:
Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is responsible for enterprise-wide and business unit financial analysis to support the corporation's key finance activities, with significant interaction, partnering, and engagement with senior management and functional leaders across ATD. This role supports annual financial planning and rolling financial forecasting across the entire organization, while tracking and benchmarking corporate performance metrics, with active engagement with company leadership, ownership and investors. Key Responsibilities Analyze operating performance, evaluate pricing strategies, sales and merchandising strategies based on product/customer profitability, operational cost efficiencies, working capital management, competitive analysis, benchmarking, and market dynamics. Contribute to M&A activities, venturing initiatives, capital investment analysis, real estate investment analysis, and decision support. Create presentations and provide decision support in communications with the executive leadership team, Board of Directors, private equity sponsors, and trading partners. Develop and deliver in-depth reporting and analysis, from routine to ad hoc financial reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually), multi-dimensional scorecards, complex dynamic models, and executive presentations for senior management, product teams, and regional managers. Participate in special corporate finance projects, including financial strategy development, capital structure analysis, and financing transactions. Provide analytical support to key field business units and market-facing corporate functional units (e.g., E-Commerce, Marketing, B2B, and B2C ventures). Review and analyze operating unit profitability, margin trends, monthly budget-to-actual, operating and overhead variance analysis, financial metric sensitivity analysis, ad-hoc analysis, and reporting (e.g., ROA, ROI, EVA).
