Job Description

Financial Planning Associate (Paraplanner Role) We are a well-established, family-owned financial planning firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual interested in building a long-term career in financial services. Our firm is built on relationships, trust, and a commitment to helping families make confident financial decisions. This entry-level role is ideal for someone pursuing or recently completing a degree in financial planning, finance, or business — or someone intentionally transitioning into the profession who is eager to learn and grow. This is not just an administrative role. You will be actively involved in the financial planning process and gain practical, hands-on experience in areas such as investment research, plan preparation, and client service — while also supporting the daily operations that help our office run smoothly. This is a non-producing role focused on planning support and client care, with opportunity for long-term growth and increasing responsibility within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing financial plans, investment summaries, and wealth management reports Input, update, and analyze client data using financial planning software Participate in elements of the planning process, including strategy discussions and report development Support client service activities and follow-up processes Provide light administrative support such as scheduling appointments, organizing documents, and maintaining client files Assist with educational and marketing materials to enhance the client experience

Genuine interest in financial planning, investments, and serving clients Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new technology Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment
Schedule & Hours:
Preferred schedule: Monday
  • Thursday, 8:30 AM
  • 5:30 PM; Friday 8:30 AM
  • 1:00 PM.
