Job Description
Large manufacturing company is looking for a Financial Analyst for a facility is central NE. Minor relocation assistance is available for candidate within surrounding states. This is an on-site position (no option to work remote or hybrid). This company does not sponsor candidates now or in the future. Purpose ~ As a member of the controllership team, the Financial Analyst will support key centralized corporate accounting functions and compliance activities. Details ~ Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers utilizing our Plex ERP system. Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process. Develop timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis for manufacturing plant Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business. Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed. Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes. Demonstrate thought leadership in process improvements, system enhancements and development of analytical tools to support a more streamlined financial reporting function and better analytics. Qualifications ~ Bachelor's Degree (in accounting or finance preferred) 3+ years of experience in accounting field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or accounting firm. Experience in a large accounting firm preferred. CPA preferred. Experience with ERP systems a must - experience with Plex is preferred.
