Macro Strategy Analyst | New York A leading investment research platform is looking to hire a Macro Strategy Analyst to join its New York-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior macro professional (2-3 years' experience) to work directly with senior investors and contribute to top-down macro strategy, portfolio positioning, and investment research. What you'll be doing: Support top-down macro research and investment idea generation Analyse economic data, market developments, and key macro themes Help translate macro views into portfolio positioning and actionable investment insights Build and maintain models, update research materials, and contribute to written commentary Assist with market/data release updates and presentation materials Take ownership of research projects and contribute directly to the investment process What we're looking for: 2-3 years of experience in macro strategy, economics, portfolio strategy, or investment research Background from a macro-focused team (sell-side research, bank macro desk, asset management, or similar) Strong understanding of global macro markets and top-down investing Strong communication and writing skills Commercial mindset with the ability to think beyond pure analysis Ideal backgrounds could include junior strategists or economists from macro research teams at banks, asset managers, or investment platforms.
