Job Description:
Top-Tier Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking an Underwriting & Portfolio Analyst (Project Finance) for a long-term, temporary-to-permanent position!
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head of the Team and Portfolio Manager in managing the existing loan portfolio Support relationship managers in drafting credit applications, performing credit analysis, and conducting commercial due diligence Ensuring compliance, risk management, and internal controls Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence in compliance with bank requirements Function as a deal-closing coordinator and prepare necessary paperwork Assist relationship managers in credit analysis tasks Prepare KYC reviews and reports Assist portfolio manager in portfolio-level monitoring Assisting with
Post Disbursement Management Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and analytical skills Experience in credit reasoning, credit writing, and financial modeling Experience in KYC due diligence and banking operations Prior banking experience, ideally in a commercial bank 1-5 years experience with Project Finance Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
