Job Description

Treasury Analyst Location:
Princeton, NJ Company:
Adecco (on behalf of client) Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join a small, high-profile Treasury team in the Princeton, NJ area. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across a broad range of treasury functions, including cash management, e-payments, forecasting, and financial analysis, while driving process improvements and supporting critical financial operations. Position Overview As a key member of the Treasury team, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for managing daily cash operations, supporting payment systems, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Key Responsibilities Manage daily cash operations, including cash positioning, positive pay, and processing of checks, wire transfers, ACH, and mobile payments Reconcile and record credit card transactions, foreign currency payments, lockbox activity, and bank account activity across headquarters and subsidiaries Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals Support short- and long-term cash flow forecasting, including variance analysis Maintain and update documentation for treasury processes, procedures, and controls Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Treasury budgets Compile and analyze data for reporting, including dashboards, e-payment metrics, and fraud analysis Administer user access for e-payment systems, including annual access reviews Serve as backup support for Treasury leadership and team members as needed Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements Partner with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation Support special projects, including reporting, meeting documentation, and process improvements
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in cash management, treasury operations, or e-payment systems (preferred) Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of cash management, banking systems, and treasury operations Experience with merchant card processing and electronic payment platforms Understanding of bank products and audit/compliance requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and prioritization abilities Advanced Excel and technical skills for automation and process improvements Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities Flexibility to work overtime or holidays when required based on banking schedules Additional Information This position does not include direct reports but requires collaboration across multiple departments. Pay Details:
