Position Overview:

International Sales / Global Distribution company in Syosset, NY is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team in Woodbury, NY. This role will play a key part in financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis, supporting leadership in making data-driven decisions across international sales operations. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling skills, business acumen, and experience working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business initiatives and operational decisions Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and accounting to drive financial performance Support pricing strategies, margin analysis, and cost optimization initiatives Assist with financial reporting for international operations and multi-currency environments Improve and streamline financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus) 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting international or multi-entity businesses is a plus
