New York Overview Our Investment Banking and Capital Markets business provides the full range of investment banking products and services for large-cap and mid-cap corporates and financial sponsors. Our offering consists of comprehensive financial advisory and capital-raising services - including mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring advice, underpinned by one of the world's largest and most successful debt and equity capital markets platforms. As a Sales Trading Analyst you will be responsible for helping with the execution the strategy of the Equity Distribution business as well as executing trades and/or providing advisory market content, as appropriate, in their relevant product/sector/market, in line with the Function's trading strategies.
Work includes:
Adhering to all internal policies and external/regulatory frameworks Recording transactions and at times preparing related statistical reports Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers Maintaining a good knowledge of trading strategies to be measured against the relevant performance targets set by the division May have responsibility for meeting set P/L targets, actively managing their trading positions within the authorized trading/risk limits, monitoring Limit Utilization and for ensuring accurate trade capture in line with applicable policies Partner with relevant internal functions (e.g. Origination, Portfolio Management) and manage key internal and external relationships. May also represent the Bank/Function at relevant industry forums What You'll Do Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Create and deliver high-value added financial analysis to targeted universe of clients and prospects. Collaborate with other internal teams to cross-sell other products offered by the bank. Provide input on the strategic direction of the group and professional development of team members. Skills You'll Need Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, in-depth product and market knowledge. Proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenue.

understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges and seizing opportunities as they arise. Proven ability to coach and encourage a diverse team of talented individuals to achieve outstanding results. Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in office at One Columbus Circle, New York, NY. The salary range for this position in New York City is $250,000 - $300,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
