Job Description
Experteer Overview In this role you will support FP&A through data-driven insights, building scalable dashboards and models that improve forecasting and decision making. You will work within a cross-functional team to enhance reporting, governance, and automation, applying modern BI and data tools to commercial banking context. You will mentor analysts, deliver executive-ready visualizations, and influence FP&A practices to drive efficiency and accuracy. This is a data-centric role with meaningful impact on planning and strategic direction.
Compensation / Benefits
- Manage FP&A processes, projects, or procedures with emphasis on data, automation, and analytics enablement
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, analytical models, and data transformations (Power Query, SQL) for reporting and forecasting
- Design end-to-end reporting solutions from data ingestion to semantic models and dashboards
- Promote data governance, standardization, and automation best practices across FP&A
- Recommend external data sources and reusable data models to enrich reporting
- Coach and review colleagues on Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and automation to improve efficiency
- Implement scalable data solutions using Python, SQL, Power BI, dbt, and automated workflows
- Deliver robust, data-backed financial forecasts aligned with strategy and budget
- Provide data-driven storytelling for executive decision-making and act as a subject matter expert on data modeling and analytics platforms
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and analysts on advanced analytics and reporting Tasks
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Analytics/Data Science, or Business Analytics/Information Systems
- 3+ years in Financial Planning and Analysis in Banking/Financial Services (preferred)
- Strong SQL, DAX, Python, Power BI and Excel proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple projects and drive to closure
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact with executive management and vendors; data-driven storytelling
- Detail-oriented with capability to research, organize, and analyze financial data
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
