Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytically minded Licensed Paraplanner to support our financial advisors in delivering exceptional client experiences. In this role, you will assist with financial plan preparation, research, modeling, and administrative tasks that ensure our advisory team can focus on deepening client relationships. Key Responsibilities Financial Plan Support Prepare comprehensive financial plans, including retirement projections, cash‑flow analysis, insurance reviews, and investment allocation summaries. Conduct product and portfolio research to support advisor recommendations. Update financial planning software with accurate client data and scenario analysis. Client Service & Advisor Support Assist advisors in preparing for client meetings with reports, illustrations, and plan summaries. Draft follow-up communications after client meetings and track action items to completion. Respond to internal inquiries regarding plan details, documentation, and data accuracy. Administrative & Compliance Maintain and update client files in accordance with regulatory and firm standards. Prepare required paperwork for account openings, transfers, and service requests. Coordinate with custodians and internal operations to resolve account-related issues. Required Qualifications Active securities and/or insurance licensing 2+ years of experience in financial planning, paraplanning, or related roles. Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital). Strong understanding of retirement planning, investment principles, risk management, and basic tax concepts. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications CFP® coursework completed or willingness to pursue CFP® certification. Experience working in a registered investment advisory (RIA) or wealth management firm.
