Job Summary Supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives across business units. Works under guidance to conduct research, perform financial and strategic analysis, and assist in preparing materials for leadership. Builds foundational knowledge of corporate finance, valuation approaches, and the utility industry while contributing to projects that enhance customer and shareholder value. Job Description Key Responsibilities Support research and analysis of strategies that enhance customer and shareholder value Assist with project analysis related to strategic initiatives across business units Help prepare executive briefings and presentations Conduct basic financial benchmarking using peer and industry data Assist in building and maintaining financial models Contribute to company and asset-level analysis under direction Perform corporate, financial, and regulatory research Collaborate with cross-functional teams Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Interest in corporate strategy or business development 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level roles) Preferred Qualifications Exposure to financial modeling or valuation concepts Progress toward CFA or CPA is a plus Core Competencies Foundational understanding of finance and accounting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Eager, resilient, and resourceful—able to navigate ambiguity with a can-do attitude. Willingness to develop new skills and to learn new tools and systems quickly Ability to work independently and collaboratively Working Conditions Flexibility to support deadlines and shifting priorities May require occasional extended hours or travel
