Type:
Full-Time Overview A confidential, Ohio‑based private investment firm is seeking a Private Equity Analyst to join its investment team. This Analyst will support all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including deal evaluation, execution, and portfolio company support within the middle market. This Analyst role offers significant exposure to senior investment professionals and entrepreneurs and is well suited for an Analyst seeking long-term growth within private equity. The Analyst will play an integral role in underwriting investments, supporting transactions, and driving value creation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, LBOs, and return analyses Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company research to support investment decisions Execute comprehensive financial, commercial, and operational due diligence Prepare investment committee materials, including investment memoranda and presentation decks Assist with transaction execution, including coordination with external advisors Support portfolio company monitoring, including quarterly performance reviews and valuations Assist with add-on acquisition analysis and execution Support business development initiatives through market mapping and opportunity research Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, commercial banking, or similar Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
