Job Description

  • Who We Are
  • Buckeye Trailers is a fast-growing manufacturer based in Northeast Ohio. We build heavy-duty steel and aluminum trailers and are focused on growing our dealer network and customer base across the country. We are not a slow, corporate environment. We move fast, expect ownership, and are building something that matters.
  • The Role
  • This is not a typical "Accounts Receivable" position. You will be responsible for helping move deals across the finish line—working with customers, finance companies, and our internal team to ensure trailers get funded quickly and smoothly. You will also support general office operations to keep the business running efficiently.
  • Core Responsibilities
  • Finance Coordination (Primary Focus)
  • Work directly with finance companies to ensure deals are funded quickly
  • Communicate with customers to collect required documents and information
  • Track open deals and follow up daily until funding is complete
  • Keep sales team informed on deal status
  • Identify and resolve delays proactively
  • Office Operations Support
  • Assist with quoting support and basic order coordination
  • Help build and manage material lists (training provided)
  • Follow up with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Maintain organized records and documentation
  • Support general office workflow and communication
  • Light Warranty Intake
  • Be first point of contact for warranty requests
  • Gather information and route to the appropriate team member
  • Follow up with customers to keep communication clear
  • What We're Looking For
  • Strong communicator (phone, email, and in-person)
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple moving pieces at once
  • Positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Relentless follow-through — if something is started, you see it through to completion without being reminded
  • Comfortable following up and pushing things forward
  • Takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • Not a Fit If You
  • Let tasks sit unfinished or need reminders to follow up
  • Prefer slow-paced or repetitive work
  • Avoid difficult conversations or follow-up
  • Need constant direction
  • Get overwhelmed juggling multiple tasks
  • Why This Role Matters
  • This position directly impacts how fast we get paid, how our customers experience our company, and how efficiently our team operates. If you do this job well, you will become a key part of how Buckeye Trailers grows.
  • Growth Opportunity
  • For the right person, this role can grow into a larger operations or administrative leadership position as the company continues to expand.
  • Buckeye Trailers
  • Improving the lives of our people and customers by strengthening America's dominance as an industrial superpower in manufacturing.
