Job Description
Description Our client, a well‑established commercial real estate organization, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to deepen their understanding of commercial real estate. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in spreadsheets, comfortable working with large datasets, and be able to evaluate/analyze construction costs and financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain complex financial models for real estate development projects, including pro forma analysis, cash flow projections, and return metrics (IRR, NPV). + Prepare and manage construction contracts. + Track project performance against budgets and timelines, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. + Collaborate with development, construction, and accounting teams to gather and validate financial data. + Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership. + Improve and automate spreadsheet models and reporting processes for efficiency and scalability. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. + 1-2 years of experience, ideally within commercial real estate, property management, or a related industry + Strong understanding of construction budgeting, contracts, and cost tracking. + High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) + Analytical, detail‑oriented, and a strong critical thinker + Self‑motivated, driven, and eager to continue learning and growing within the commercial real estate industry Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
