Job Description

Experteer Overview In this Senior Portfolio Engineer role, you will collaborate with peers to develop and implement fixed income ideas, support the Investment Policy Committee, and help scale strategies across a global client base. You'll lead new strategy development and work with researchers, traders, and implementation peers to optimize portfolio management processes. The role includes communicating strategy insights to internal and top client audiences and contributing to client-focused, data-driven decision making. This is a high-impact position within Fisher Investments' Portfolio Engineering group, rooted in collaboration and growth.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support the Investment Policy Committee with construction, implementation, and ongoing management of fixed income strategies
  • Review portfolios for alignment with committee views and investment guidelines; assist with rebalancing and risk considerations
  • Translate top-down/sector views into portfolio tilts (duration, curve shape, sector weights, security selection)
  • Lead development of new fixed income strategies for a global client base
  • Participate in external client meetings and respond to ad hoc requests
  • Maintain and develop portfolio tools to improve performance and scalability of fixed income management Tasks
  • 7+ years of fixed income experience in a similar portfolio management role
  • Experience in buy-side research and trading
  • Proven ability to lead growth initiatives across teams
  • Track record of communicating insights and driving portfolio impact
  • Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets
  • Proficiency in financial data systems
  • Desire to leverage knowledge to support clients Key requirements
