Job Description

Position Summary This position plays a key role in supporting the company s financial planning and analysis function, including ad hoc financial modeling, valuation analysis, peer benchmarking, and the preparation of management‑level presentations. The analyst will contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, develop data‑driven insights, and evaluate financial performance across the organization. In addition to core financial responsibilities, this position will support strategic decision‑making by providing clear, well‑structured analysis that informs leadership discussions. A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role. Safety, Sustainability & Continuous Improvement Contribute to annual budgeting and recurring forecasting cycles by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and ensuring accuracy Assist FP&A team with planning several non-mining business areas Develop and maintain ad hoc financial models to support forecasting, valuation analysis, and scenario planning Improve existing financial models by adding sensitivity analyses, trend projections, and expanded metrics Help maintain Oracle EPBCS Planning System, including troubleshooting and system enhancements Automate existing ad hoc reports and create dashboards to ensure data integrity and reliability Conduct peer benchmarking and performance evaluations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Research, prepare, and update drafts of PowerPoint slides for presentations Solicit, gather, and oversee organization of internal support materials for quarterly earnings materials Support Senior Management and department heads with in-depth financial analysis Improve existing models for added sensitivity functionality, forward trends, and additional metrics Build and maintain complex financial models to assist in Business Development and M&A initiatives Perform economic analysis to aid financial decision-making Work on other ad hoc projects and deliverables Required Skills and Experience Bachelor s degree required. A degree in finance, accounting, business or economics preferred 1 to 3 years of experience in either Finance, Accounting or Treasury Understanding of finance, accounting, financial statements, and good financial modeling skills Enjoy collaborating but are also able to work independently Execute efficiently with strong organizational skills and high levels of attention to detail and accuracy Resourceful with sharp problem-solving and critical thinking skills Can quickly dissect and convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Oracle EPBCS Planning and Budgeting Cloud experience preferred but not a prerequisite Additional Information This position is based in Canonsburg, PA and is fully in-person Occasional travel
