Job Description

Overview The Finance Intern will partner with the Finance team to gain hands-on experience supporting financial operations, reporting, and analysis across the organization. MRO is shaping the future of Clinical Data within the healthcare ecosystem, and our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence. We are looking for interns who are detail-oriented, analytical, and enthusiastic about learning financial processes within a dynamic healthcare environment. This internship provides exposure to core finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. As a Finance Intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply financial principles to real-world business scenarios, and gain experience with MRO's financial tools and processes. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnership. This is a 10 - 12 week internship over the summer, paying $20 an hour. Responsibilities
  • Partner with Finance team to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
  • Assist with data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Learn and apply financial principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the Finance function.
  • Partner with a mentor to understand financial business impact and decision-making. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree program (in progress or completed) with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data analysis, pivot tables).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Awareness of basic financial concepts (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, financial statements).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
