Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in the Robinson Area. This role is suited for an individual who can translate financial data into meaningful business insights and support informed decision-making. The position will focus on analytical reporting, forecasting support, and evaluating performance trends across key financial areas. The estimated length for the contract position is 3-4 months. It would be part-time, 24 hours per week (3 days a week).

Responsibilities:

+ Gather and combine workforce-related data (attendance, capacity, productivity, staffing assumptions) from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. + Improve reporting processes by reducing manual data work and creating more scalable, structured datasets. + Maintain and update workforce models as assumptions change, ensuring forecasts stay aligned across all time periods. + Analyze performance trends, including month-over-month results and actual vs. forecast, and clearly communicate key drivers, risks, and opportunities. + Monitor financial and operational metrics, flag issues early, and recommend solutions. + Build knowledge of key business drivers at both the role-level and product-level. + Perform financial analysis and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership. + Support initiatives aimed at improving growth, efficiency, and overall business performance. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. + At least 1 year of FP& A or related analytical experience. + Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation). + Strong ability to manage and validate large datasets from multiple sources with high attention to accuracy. + Comfortable working in evolving environments where processes and tools are still being developed. + Ability to interpret data and present clear insights, including trends, risks, and operational impacts. + Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment. + Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics. + Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
