Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Intern, Finance and Transformation will support with various Finance and Transformation projects, driving operational improvements, data analysis, and process optimization initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial operations, business transformation efforts, and cross-functional collaboration.The intern will assist with data management, reporting, and process documentation while contributing to key transformation projects aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking to build foundational experience in finance, analytics, and business operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
ECRI will provide mentorship and learning opportunities, with the potential to tailor project work to align with the intern's academic background and career interests, as business needs allow.

- Data Entry and Back-end Systems Support Analyst
- Analytical, organized, detail-oriented, data savvy to execute basic data entry, database management, spreadsheet creation, inbound and outbound call handling, light technology application administration, and general office administration
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to support back-end operations in fast-paced or small business environments with minimal oversight
- Personable, reliable, and highly communicative, contributing a positive and professional presence to every team with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including process improvement, workflow optimization, and documentation of current and future state processes
- Assist with data analysis and reporting, including gathering, organizing, and validating financial and operational data
- Perform data entry and database maintenance, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial systems and records
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and presentations to support team initiatives and leadership reporting
- Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and recommend improvements based on data and observations
- Support system-related activities, including light administration, testing, or documentation of finance tools and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, HR, IT) on projects and ad hoc requests
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and project discussions
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, delivering work on time and with high quality

QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, business, data analytics, or related fields preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Interest in finance operations, transformation, or process improvement
Education:
- High school diploma required.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, preferably in a Human Resources / Organizational Development discipline. Computer Skills

COMPENSATION
- The salary range for new employees in this position is $20.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position operates in a remote environment and requires the individual to remain in a stationary position, whether sitting or standing, before a desk or other fixed workspace, most of their workday. In addition, this position requires the individual to occasionally move about their workspace to access and inspect work-related materials, such as file cabinets with physical files and standard office equipment. This position requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including, but not limited to, a laptop, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and phone, as well as effectively communicate information and ideas to a wide variety of audiences in written and oral form.ADA STATEMENT
