Department FinancialAid Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Financial Aid & Enrollment, this position servesas a key functional and technical resource supporting the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of financial aid systems.

The role provides primary oversight of the Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module and related integrated systems, ensuring operationalaccuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient data management across federal, state, and institutional programs. Forthe right candidate this position is eligible for fully remote work. Applicants must be authorized to workfor any employer in the U.S. Immigration sponsorship will not be offered for this position.
EssentialDuties:
Financial Aid Systems Administration & Operations Administer and coordinate the BannerFinancial Aid module, including system configuration, implementation, testing, documentation, and training Coordinate annualaid-year setup processes, including roll procedures, parameter updates, table configuration, and system validation for regulatory compliance Manage financial aid system operations, including electronic data loads, file transmissions, and data exchanges with the U.S.Department of Education, state agencies, and other external partners - Configure, test, run, and support automated and manual financial aidpackaging processes within Banner, ensuring awarding methodologies align with institutional policy, federal regulations, and enrollmentmanagement objectives Serve as the primary functional subject matter expert for Banner Financial Aid and related ERP platforms, supporting system functionality, optimization, and compliance SystemsMaintenance, Compliance & Integration Monitor, research, and implement system updates, including Banner releases,regulatory changes, patches, and enhancements Collaborate with Information Technology on system integrations, job scheduling,automation workflows, and enterprise process improvements Diagnose and resolve system issues in partnership with IT staff andexternal vendors to ensure continuity of operations Maintain data integrity across financial aid systems, identifyingdiscrepancies and implementing corrective actions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aidregulations through system configuration and operational controls Reporting, Documentation & AuditSupport Develop, maintain, and distribute operational, management, and compliance reports using Banner, Argos, and relatedreporting tools Support internal audits, program reviews, reconciliations, and compliance monitoring activities Develop and maintain system documentation, procedural guides, and updates to the
Financial Aid Policy and Procedure Manual Additional Skills Required:
Maintain knowledge and proficiency with technological skills required for performanceof general and program specific duties used for the administration of financial aid Maintain knowledge and proficiency offederal, state and institutional aid programs, including compliance and regulations through participation in training seminars, webinars andattendance at conferences Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) proficiency Knowledge and abilitywith large data base systems, e.g. Banner Sevis Excellent organizational skills Must maintain highest levels ofaccuracy and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communications skills The ability to multi-task in afast paced environment Knowledge of common office procedures including telephone etiquette The ability to uphold humandignity and respect by recognizing each persons worth, valuing diverse perspectives, and treating others with kindness, fairness, andempathy Must be able to respect, support and contribute to the Universitys Catholic and Jesuit mission

Bachelors degree required

Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Minimum of three (3)years of relevant experience Experience with Ellucian Banner or comparable higher education ERP Demonstrated experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and process automation Ability to manage multiplepriorities in a complex regulatory and technical environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience withEllucian Banner Financial Aid Strong understanding of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and processes Experience with data reporting tools (e.g., Argos, SQL, or equivalent reporting platforms)
