Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term position with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office collaboration three days a week with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against forecasts and budgets.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract valuable information from large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Assist in managing fixed assets by tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Participate in onboarding processes and provide support during the initial two-week onsite training period.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

• Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong proficiency in data mining techniques and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with variance analysis and the ability to explain financial discrepancies.
• Knowledge of fixed asset accounting and associated processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills to present financial findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office and remote tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
