Financial Analyst (W2 Consultant
- Manufacturing)

W2 Consulting Opportunity Jefferson Wells is partnering with a manufacturing client to identify a Financial Analyst to join their team on a W2 consulting basis . This is a hands-on, analytics-focused role supporting critical finance operations during a period of transition, with the potential to extend or convert depending on business needs and performance. The Financial Analyst will assist with core financial planning and reporting activities, including annual business planning and semi-annual operating plans. The role will support product model costing and profitability analysis to inform sales pricing decisions, prepare recurring financial reporting deliverables, and provide ad-hoc analysis for management and internal stakeholders. This position offers strong exposure across the business and visibility to senior leadership. This role is well-suited for candidates with a solid foundation in financial statements who enjoy working directly with data. It is highly Excel-driven and requires comfort organizing, analyzing, and presenting financial information. Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred , particularly for candidates familiar with cost structures and product/BOM-related analysis. The team operates in a hybrid model, with multiple days on-site each week. Additional flexibility may be available for consultants after initial onboarding and training. Key Responsibilities Assist in coordinating the annual business plan and semi-annual operating plan processes Support analysis and reporting across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow Prepare and review product model costing and profitability analysis to support pricing decisions Deliver recurring financial and management reports focused on product and business unit performance Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests for management and internal/external stakeholders Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance leadership Required Qualifications Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, SUMIFs, data mining, data organization) Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for financial presentations and reporting Ability to work hands-on with detailed data to drive analysis Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing industry experience strongly desired Budgeting and forecasting experience Exposure to financial consolidation tools (OneStream experience is a plus but not required) Compensation Hourly pay: $45- 55/hour , depending on experience W2 employment through Jefferson Wells If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
