Job Description
Financial Analyst Our client, a San Marcos, TX-based manufacturer, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, operational analysis, and business decision-making across the organization. This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to both finance and operations. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working in Excel, and interested in supporting a growing manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management. Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, inventory, and operational performance trends. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor actual results against budget and help explain key drivers of performance. Maintain and update financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Support month-end and year-end close through financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. Assist with inventory, cost accounting, and operational analysis. Track key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with department leaders to gather financial information and support business decisions. Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests. Help improve financial reporting processes, controls, and overall efficiency. Assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 1+ years of relevant experience Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data. Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences. Manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or operational finance experience is a plus.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
