Financial Analyst (Hybrid) - Up to $62/hr (DOE) Loveland, CO Hybrid schedule (onsite + remote flexibility) Monday-Friday | Standard business hours Contract through end of 2026 | Extension highly likely
Overview:
This Financial Analyst will support North American Retail Finance Operations with a heavy focus on margin analysis, reconciliations, and reporting, while playing a key role in a major SAP implementation going live this fall. This is a high-volume, hands-on role where someone will be in the weeds with data, supporting a wide range of business needs across multiple regions.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily margin analysis and proactively identify discrepancies or performance issues Execute detailed reconciliations and tie-outs across P&Ls, margins, costs, supplier programs, and freight Prepare and review journal entries with a strong understanding of debits and credits Support month-end close in partnership with accounting and operations teams Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting across regional, divisional, and corporate stakeholders Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly business narratives Handle frequent ad hoc reporting and analysis requests Support SAP implementation efforts, including testing, data validation, and reporting refinement Assist with data harmonization and integration of legacy systems/processes Partner with leadership across North American regions to identify profitability improvements Contribute to ongoing process improvements and additional finance projects as needed
Requirements:
Strong financial analysis experience (background matters more than formal degree) Advanced SAP experience required, ideally within customized environments or implementations Proven experience with reconciliations, P&L analysis, and journal entry preparation Advanced Excel skills (comfortable working with large, complex datasets) Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage manual, data-heavy processes Flexible and adaptable—able to shift priorities and handle a broad workload Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset Experience in agriculture or oil & gas environments is a plus
Work Environment & Team:
Hybrid role based in Loveland, CO (not fully remote) Supporting a distributed North American finance team (not tied to a single region) Strong onboarding, training, and team support provided
