Financial Analyst ???? Downtown Chicago | Hybrid A prestigious global law firm with 1,750+ attorneys across 20+ offices worldwide is seeking a Financial Analyst to support practice group leaders and senior managing partners with financial reporting, performance analytics, and business insights. This is a great opportunity for an early-career finance professional who enjoys working with data, building reports, and partnering with senior stakeholders in a sophisticated professional services environment.
What You'll Do:
Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports summarizing key performance indicators and profitability at the practice group, office, and attorney level Support financial managers in the design and preparation of the monthly financial reporting package Participate in monthly review calls with senior management and address follow-up requests Configure specifications to accurately and efficiently extract data from the firm's financial reporting software Perform ongoing audits of financial system data to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting SOPs Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries related to financial matters, collaborating cross-functionally as needed Assist with the annual budgeting process and analysis of lateral hire activity Support maintenance of the firm's financial software and reporting tools Assist with quarterly and annual bank surveys Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar At least 1-2 years of finance, accounting or consulting experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
