Position Summary :
The Financial Analyst supports core finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and financial reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely client billing, maintaining financial data integrity, and supporting analysis that improves operational efficiency. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and uphold strong financial controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and issue accounts receivable and payable invoices timely and accurately. Manage billing configurations for 1000+ client accounts, including maintaining billing preferences, updating account details, and adjusting invoices as needed. Serve as a primary lead for outreach on outstanding balances and supporting cash flow optimization. Perform financial reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and partner with internal teams to resolve issues impacting billing. Communicate with internal and external business partners to address inquiries and resolve operational or financial concerns. Process and apply client payments while maintaining proper documentation. Support vendor payment processing, including reviewing invoices, preparing payment batches, and maintaining accurate claims adjudication records. Escalate complex issues to management promptly and provide supporting documentation or analysis as needed. Assist with periodic financial reporting, data analysis, and preparation of metrics that support leadership decision‑making.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 1-3 years billing experience. Prior experience using several source systems to electronically process large volume of transactions on a recurring monthly basis preferred. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Acute attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharmacy or Healthcare industry experience Prior experience with, or knowledge of, electronic billing and accounts receivable procedures preferred. Experience in the employee benefit, insurance, healthcare, or B2B services sectors is preferred.
