UNO provides economic and accounting support to companies and their counsel involved in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations conducted by the Department of Commerce (DOC) and the International Trade Commission (ITC). About the Position Responsibilities include the following: Analyze sales and cost data received from clients to verify accuracy of information and insure consistency with DOC and ITC reporting requirements; Build and update sales and cost databases submitted to the DOC as part of questionnaire responses; Assist in preparing questionnaire responses to information requests received from US trade authorities; Analyze antidumping and countervailing duty calculations and identify factors driving the result; Research and analyze international trade statistics; Research case precedent concerning trade remedy proceedings; Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree required; economics, statistics, mathematics, or accounting preferred. Proficiency in statistical programming language (e.g. R, Python) a must; experience with SAS a plus; Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., familiar with XLOOKUP, conditional SUMPRODUCT and pivot tables); Strong analytical and quantitative skills with close attention to detail Ability to interpret government questionnaires, case precedents, and decision memoranda to determine appropriate analytical response Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities under deadline pressure Prior experience in trade remedy, regulatory, audit, or government consulting a plus Overtime and weekends may be required to meet deadlines and workload requirements; Occasional travel may be required.
