Job Summary:
Description This role supports the management and oversight of investment portfolios by contributing to analysis, monitoring, and execution activities aligned with established investment strategies and risk parameters. The position applies developing professional judgment and financial knowledge to support portfolio objectives, working in partnership with senior portfolio professionals and other stakeholders to help ensure portfolios are managed effectively and in accordance with policy and market conditions.
Job Duties:
Support daytoday portfolio management activities, including monitoring portfolio performance, exposures, and risk metrics relative to objectives and guidelines. Perform financial, market, or portfoliolevel analysis to inform investment decisions, rebalancing actions, or strategic reviews. Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, strategies, or managers using defined analytical frameworks and available data. Prepare portfoliorelated materials, reporting, or analysis for internal partners, management, or governance committees. Track market developments, economic trends, and financial data to support understanding of portfolio impacts and emerging risks. Partner with investment operations, risk, and reporting teams to support accurate execution, settlement, and monitoring of portfolio activity. Contribute to the review and maintenance of portfolio documentation, investment guidelines, and monitoring processes. Support projects or initiatives aimed at improving portfolio processes, reporting, or analytical capabilities. Escalate identified issues, variances, or risks and provide input into potential resolution options.
Essential Skills:
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
Required Experience:
2+ years of relevant experience Earlycareer professional experience in investment management, asset management, finance, analytics, or a related area. Working knowledge of investment concepts, portfolio construction, and financial markets. Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and communicate insights clearly. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with common financial analysis tools, spreadsheets, and reporting systems; exposure to portfolio or market data platforms preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with crossfunctional partners.
