Job Description
The Opportunity The Portfolio Administrator is responsible for providing coverage of multiple Portfolio Administrator positions/functions. This position will be asked to perform various functions within the Operations Department including but not limited to Portfolio Reconciliation, Trade Settlement, New Account Administration, and Data Maintenance functions. Company Overview Renaissance Investment Management is a SEC Registered Investment Advisor based in Covington, Kentucky. We specialize in Equity and Fixed Income investments via various investment strategies. We deliver investment solutions tailored to meet the needs of Taft-Hartley funds, foundations and endowments, religious organizations, public entities, corporations, insurance companies, individuals, and advisory channel clients. Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconciliation § Daily reconciliation of transactions and holdings § Analyze and resolve daily accounting differences § Process corporate actions and dividends § Process DTC confirms § Process client cash flow needs and inform appropriate investment personnel as required § Set up, process, and reconcile proxies § Maintain books of record by scanning/uploading custodian statements to internal Digital Filing system § Quarter-end reporting: generate appraisals, fee bills, and reports, review and distribute accordingly • New Accounts and Account Maintenance § Set up client information in the portfolio accounting system (Indata) and work with custodians to ensure new accounts are set up correctly and gather and record custodian information § Maintain new and existing account information by updating client contact information to CRM § New account paperwork and account terminations • Data Maintenance § Daily maintenance of portfolio accounting data and other data as needed or directed by supervisor • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned Education, Skills, Personal Characteristics and Work Experience Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (will also consider Associate's Degree with equivalent experience) • Knowledge of securities (Stocks, Mutual Funds, ETF's & Bonds) would be beneficial • Knowledge of and/or experience in Financial Investment Management would be beneficial • Proficient with Microsoft Office products • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to resolve problems independently • Attention to detail • Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines • Strong customer service and communication skills due to the constant interaction between departments and outside contacts Renaissance offers a competitive compensation package.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
