Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle various financial tasks for assigned consulting projects and programs, interfacing with team members, sales and consulting staff, management, and externally as needed to complete work activities. Establish and maintain revenue and billing formulas. Monitor and maintain contract funding and modification reconciliation. Review and approve some opportunities/new bookings from the sales team. Review Estimate-At-Completion- To Completion and perform variance analysis.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience 2-4 years' experience working in accounting or financial analyst role Experience working with accounting/financial software systems such as NetSuite and Certinia, MS Excel proficiency and other data management tools at intermediate level. Revenue recognition and accrual accounting required. Experience with government contracting requirements a plus Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs): Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for consulting projects, including accounts receivable transactions, general ledger and account reconciliations Professional attitude while interfacing with customers regarding collection issues and disputes. Demonstrated knowledge and use of MS Office Suite Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office Ability to read and understand contract documents from vendors and government agencies. Problem solving and mathematical skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritize work and self-manage Analytical and critical thinking skills Frequent use or application of functional discipline principles, standards, and theories Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.PI283810756
