Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst At Aptyx, a new name backed by 70 years of expertise, we bring together the aptitude and excellence of more than a dozen companies with decades of experience helping customers in the life sciences and other demanding industries solve complex manufacturing problems with confidence so they can create more good things in the world. We make it happen through our integrated, comprehensive capabilities including engineering, molding, extrusion, coatings, and assembly across our global network of 14 manufacturing locations. We are looking to expand our finance team! This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with various areas such as reporting automation, budgeting, modeling, ops analysis, and more. E ssential Functions Work with Operations and Sales to build their annual budgets and forecasts Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance Utilizing BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance Assist in building out a BI platform for detailed reporting Communicate to management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results Provide detailed analysis and commentary on results Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets Communicating results and recommendations to management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations Provide insights to management around financial modeling, forecasts and profitability Qualifications The more common skills and attributes that are needed for this role may include: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business required Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant analytical experience Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools Strong quantitative abilities Able to solve complex problems Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships Influencing and interpersonal skills Business acumen Computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages Professional qualification such as CA or CPA or CFA preferred Senior Financial Analyst 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars Myrtle Point, OR 97458 Hybrid work Full-time Aptyx 3 reviews Full-time Senior Financial Analyst At Aptyx, a new name backed by 70 years of expertise, we bring together the aptitude and excellence of more than a dozen companies with decades of experience helping customers in the life sciences and other demanding industries solve complex manufacturing problems with confidence so they can create more good things in the world.
